Highly regarded for his energetic, innovative and solutions-driven leadership in conservative politics, Brandon Brice is a fighter for Harlem residents and the preservation of Harlem's history.
Brandon was born in Detroit, MI., and later relocated to New York, after attending Howard University, where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration and Marketing. Brandon was awarded a fellowship with the New Jersey Eagleton Institute for Politics while attending Rutgers University, focusing on urban economic development as a Raimondo Fellow. Brandon is currently the political contributor for the conservative blog HipHopRepublican.com, a political contributor for Fox News, a writer for MSNBC‘s TheGrio, motivational speaker, and social activist.
Brandon has served as an Economic Associate for the Economic Opportunity Institute of the National Urban League in New York and has worked as a Business Analyst for World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. As a Community Organizer, he is currently working in the Harlem community to promote an agenda for enhancing senior services and small business development. Brice has been featured on C-Span's Road to the White House, BET, New York’s Cable Network Grit-TV with Laura Flanders, Time Out New York, Sirius Radio XM, and Hot 97's "Street Team" with Lisa Evers. As a former educator, Brandon has given lectures at Rutgers University, Baruch College and the Center of American Progress in Washington, D.C.
Brandon has worked to further "social entrepreneurship and empowerment" in urban communities, specifically in serving senior populations. He has also continued his community and civic involvement, serving on the boards of the Economic Development and Waterfront Committee for Manhattan's Community Board-9, comprising of West Harlem, Washington Heights and is a member of Harlem Hospital’s Community Advisory Board.
Brandon Brice is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Masonic Grand Lodge of New York-Prince Hall Affiliated, and is a member of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy. Brandon currently lives in West Harlem’s historical working class neighborhood of Sugar Hill.
